Miss Deaf LA Pageant

The Miss Deaf Louisiana Pageant is more than a beauty contest. The Pageant is an opportunity for Louisiana's young deaf and hard of hearing women to showcase their beauty and talent.

The Miss Deaf Louisiana Pageant is open to women who are residents of Louisiana, unmarried, are between 18 - 27 and who are deaf or hard of hearing.  The pageant offers these young women the opportunity to develop self-esteem, poise, display their talents, voice their opinions, and share their ambitions.

The Miss Deaf Louisiana Pageant is held biennially, usually in conjunction with the Louisiana Association of the Deaf conference in odd numbered years. The Miss Deaf Louisiana Pageant Committee is a function of the Louisiana Association of the Deaf as appointed by the LAD president and ratified by the LAD Board.
